Step.01

CONSULTATION & PROPOSAL

Perform a site evaluation and discuss the client’s goals, budget and the construction process. Draft a design proposal for client review.

Step.02

KICKOFF MEETING

The design team reviews the project budget, limitations, programming, and design aesthetic and commences with a conceptual landscape design.

Step.03

CONCEPTUAL DESIGN

Design team go over all the home owners landscape goals and start schematic design.  Considering site elements creatively while considering flows, accessibility, safety, aesthetics, privacy, micro-climate and budget.

Step.04

PRELIMINARY COST ESTIMATE

Using the conceptual landscape design layout we prepare an excel spreadsheet which line items each estimated construction cost.

Step.05

CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION

 

Completion of the final construction set that landscape contractor will use to build the project.  Items included in the Construction set includes the following items, Hardscape, Hardscape Details, Planting, Irrigation, Lighting, Grading and Drainage Plans.  As well as Pool & Patio Cover Plans if needed.

Step.06

SUBMITTALS & BIDDING

The completed set of plans will be printed and delivered to the Client for HOA and City submittals if required.  As well as sent to Contractors for bids and Engineers for structural plans if needed.

Step.07

CONSTRUCTION OBSERVATION

 

Offer recommendations to the Client and Landscape Contractor to help ensure the highest construction standards are met and exceeded.  Main goal is to ensure Landscape Contractor is following approved landscape drawings.
